Sami and Jordan’s New Year’s Eve wedding at OneElevenEast was a complete dream. I met Sami when I was a freshman in high school. We were both in the marching band together and were part of the color guard. When she contacted me to shoot her wedding on New Year’s Eve I was thrilled! We started off in the early afternoon photographing their BEAUTIFUL reception venue, OneElevenEast in Hutto, TX while there was still light to work with. The beautiful white brick walls, details and gold and green decor were all magazine worthy. As an Austin wedding photographer, this is a bucket list wedding venue to shoot at and I am so glad I was asked to photograph Sami and Jordan’s special day there.
The ceremony was held at the Texas Baptist Children’s Home in Round Rock. It is a beautiful chapel with stained glass windows and beautiful lighting. It was already dark outside as the ceremony began, so we had to get creative and take portraits in the dark. We were so happy this happened because now we LOVE taking night portraits! After the ceremony, we headed over to OneElevenEast in Hutto, TX for their reception. They had great food, music and some of the best dancers around! At the stroke of midnight, everyone put on a fun hat, had a drink and celebrated the new year in style. We ended the night with a sparkler exit and sent the newly weds off to their new life together! What a fun way to spend New Year’s Eve! Here are some photos from their awesome wedding day.
