DOWNTOWN WALBURG, TX – BRIDAL PORTRAITS

These are probably some of my favorite Bridal Portraits because they are of my pretty sister, Naomi. We got up super early, took a beautiful drive to Dripping Springs, TX to get her hair and make-up done, stopped at Whole Foods to get some flowers and the most delicious sandwich I’ve had in a while and then headed back to Walburg, TX to take her Bridal Portraits. She looked SO PRETTY in her gold wedding dress, her hair all dolled up and with those nice fluffy lashes. It reminded me of when we were little and used to pretend we were on America’s Next Top Model and would get all dressed up and do photo shoots in our back yard. I am so proud of my sister. She has always been a great role model and even better person to look up to. I couldn’t have ask for a better person to grow up with, do stupid things with, laugh with, cry with and be best friends with. She’s just pretty damn wonderful. CAMERON & CODY’S AUSTIN GROOM & GROOM SHOOT // AUSTIN, TX

I have known Cameron since I was in 9th grade. We met through an activity called color guard. My instructor taught at my school as well as his and because of that we would sit together when we were at competitions. Eventually, when we both started doing color guard “professionally,” we were able to march in the same group! It’s actually hard for me to remember a time when Cameron wasn’t with Cody?! They have been together for so long. The second same sex marriage was legalized, Austin, TX had a mass wedding for all of the same sex couples that wanted to tie the knot. Cameron and Cody were one of these couples. I had the honor or photographing their groom and groom photos about a month later. Such a wonderful experience, and more love than I have ever seen in my entire life. These two were made for each other. Here are some of my favorites from their #groomandgroom shoot. <3

SHARON & ADAM’S HYE MEADOW WINERY WEDDING // HYE, TX

Hye, Texas is quite a drive from my place, but it was a BEAUTIFUL one. This past Saturday, I jumped in my (spanking new 🙂 ) car and drove to the Hye Meadow Winery in Hye, Texas to shoot Sharon and Adam’s wedding reception. They had their wedding a week earlier on the beach in California, but wanted to do something for their Texas family and friends that couldn’t make it out to the wedding on the beach. I could tell these two really love each other from the moment I saw them together. The weather was perfect, the people were happy and the dancing and singing were top notch. Here are some of my favorites from Saturday.

KATIE & RYAN’S DAY AFTER BRIDE & GROOM SHOOT // AUSTIN, TX

Today Katie and Ryan drove from Houston to get their Bride and Groom portraits taken. The weather was PERFECT, the light was magical and my subjects were ready for adventure! I love driving around and looking for locations, but the awesome thing about the locations that I chose for this shoot, was that they were all places I pass every single day on the way to work. Most of these places I have been itching to do a photo shoot so I am really glad I finally had the right session for these locations.
